Why
Operations
The goal of someone working with Cru in Operations is the same as the goal of anyone else in the ministry: to make disciples of all nations. We want everyone, everywhere to know someone who truly follows Jesus Christ. Operations teams do this through increasing the capacity of field teams to share the gospel effectively.
Our
Vision
Jesus is changing lives around the world.
People are hearing the Gospel and responding to Jesus. Hearts are transforming from spiritually dead to alive in Christ. Lives are changing from imprisoned to free.
Cru’s purpose
To help fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by winning people to faith in Jesus Christ, building them in their faith, and sending them to win and build others and helping the body of Christ to do evangelism and discipleship.
God is moving in students to bring the gospel to a world in need.
This summer, thousands of students will go on Summer Missions around the world. They will see God move in and through them as they step out in faith.
What
we Believe
We believe in the person of Jesus Christ and in his death and resurrection. We believe God created us to be in relationship with Him and to reflect His glory. However, because of our sin (our imperfection), we were separated from God and His perfect standard. God, in response, sent His son Jesus to live on this earth perfectly and to die in our place. Our sin earned us the penalty of death (separation from God for eternity) but Jesus’ death on the cross was to pay that penalty for us. Now, we can, through receiving and trusting in Jesus, have a relationship with our living God and know that we will be with Him for eternity.
